South-Western asked Victory Productions to deliver final files for a brand-new six-book elementary series, Learning with Computers, in about six months. Victory's team developed and produced this series. For each text the product family also included a wrap teacher's edition and a teacher CD-ROM. On-time delivery of all materials for the series was critical for a state adoption.
Victory's project team was outstanding. Every person there was so enthusiastic about Learning with Computers. They displayed a "can-do" attitude no matter what we asked, and the deadlines were tight! The result was a wonderful, colorful series of project-based books for Levels K–5. I had heard good things about Victory, so when Gareth Stevens, Inc., decided to increase our share of the Spanish-language educational market, we turned to Victory to translate and produce Spanish editions of selected titles in our popular World Almanac Library of the States and Isaac Asimov’s 21st Century Library of the Universe book series. We are very pleased with the result. The vocabulary is at the appropriate reading level, and the translations are accurate and fully engaging to students as they awaken to concepts in social studies and science. The Spanish editions have been well reviewed and well received.
